02 · Game length & safety

Draft: stop for injuries, lightning or unsafe conditions; follow field closure notices. Equipment, mercy rule, tie treatment and umpire procedures require final approval.

03 · Rosters & eligibility

Proposed adult league (18+), ten fielders and a continuous batting order. Roster limits, substitutes, divisions and playoff eligibility will be finalized before paid registration. Captains maintain their own roster.

04 · Sportsmanship & community

No harassment, threats, slurs or abusive posts. Production posts need server screening, reports and moderator review. A word filter alone cannot guarantee a safe board. Captains are responsible for team conduct.

05 · Photos, broadcasts & game books

Upload only photos you have permission to share. A future consent process must let players choose public portraits and broadcasts. Game books stay private to the submitting team and authorized league staff; verified totals can appear as stats. Do not put contact information in a game book.

Equipment & league services

The league provides field permits, umpires, video coverage with YouTube live streams and replays, and strike-zone mats. Each team must supply game balls and bases. Final equipment specifications will be confirmed before play.

06 · Locations, rainouts, fees & refunds

Central Park is our preferred main location, subject to approved field permits. Makeup games may be scheduled in Brooklyn, Queens, or the Bronx, depending on available permits. Check the confirmed game schedule for the field, date, and time before traveling.

All dates depend on permits. If the league cannot obtain the permits needed to deliver the advertised season and cancels before play begins, registration payments including league-charged processing fees are refunded in full. Teams that voluntarily withdraw after their division’s first scheduled game has begun receive no registration refund, including late entrants. This does not govern cancellations by the league. Pre-season withdrawals, weather losses and games the league cannot deliver still need a separate final policy, subject to applicable refund rights. NYC Parks does not refund permit fees for weather cancellations under its published rule.

THE BULLPEN / STAY READY FOR THE CALL

Your next game starts with a Sub Pass.

Want to fill an open roster spot? Join our substitute pool with at least one available pass. Pick a Bullpen Bag and tell us when you can play.

ONE GAME$201 pass · $20 / appearance

Week-by-week mock schedule

Dates are editable proposals, subject to permits. Weekdays: two simultaneous games at 6 p.m., Tuesday–Thursday. Weekend: up to three consecutive games per day; start times TBD. The six-game mock has three regular-season weeks (6 games per week per league), followed by semifinals, league finals and the City Diamond final. Repeat matchups are marked. Only the City Diamond final crosses leagues; teams must agree to its shared date before registration. Central Park is our preferred main location, subject to approved field permits. Makeup games may be scheduled in Brooklyn, Queens, or the Bronx, depending on available permits. Check the confirmed game schedule for the field, date, and time before traveling.

A year of memories, then a private archive.

Team pages stay public for one calendar year after their last actual league competition, then become private and read-only. Rejoining captains can request restoration of the same team history. This preview calculates status when opened; production needs a daily archive job and verified restoration.

LOCAL EDITOR · NOT SECURED ADMIN

One permit-hour budget per selected season, combined across its weekday and weekend leagues. Every postseason slot reserves its full duration even if the tie period is unused. Simultaneous fields still consume separate field-hours. Reserve time also counts if booked.

Six teams per league. Six-game mock: one repeat opponent per team; no regular-season interleague games. Changing round-robin or playoff format resets local mock results. No field bookings are made.

Equal team counts in both leagues · uses your slot and playoff settings
TEAMS / LEAGUEREGULAR / LEAGUEPLAYOFFS / LEAGUECOMBINED GAMESHOURS + RESERVEFITS?

Six-team regular season = 6 × games per team ÷ 2 per league; the six-game mock adds one round of repeat opponents. Other team-size comparisons use a standard round robin without extra rounds. Single-elimination playoffs = entrants − 1 (no bronze game). Hours = regular games × regular slot + league postseason games × league playoff slot + one City Diamond Championship slot, plus configured changeovers and reserve. One interleague championship is included. All playoff entrants get at least one playoff game; only advancing teams get more.

Permit check, not an insurance clearance.

Published NYC rule §2-12(c)(5) requires liability coverage above 50 permitted hours per season. Keep both leagues aggregated and confirm your organization, hours and permit conditions with Parks. The planner models capacity, not guaranteed contiguous field slots.

CITY DIAMOND CHAMPIONSHIP

Two league champions. One final. The City Diamond Championship brings our weekday and weekend winners together for the season’s overall title.

Six perpetual trophies · three for Spring, three for Fall.

Each season has a Clock-Out Pennant, Weekend Warrior Pennant and City Diamond Cup. The overall champion also keeps its league title. These are traveling trophies; the winner’s place in the league record never expires.

Your trophy. Your choice.

Draft proposal: finalists choose before the final. No deposit means a trophy presentation and photos, with the trophy staying with the league. A deposit is separate from dues. Return on time in agreed condition for a full refund. Document collection and return with photos; normal wear is not damage. Overdue reminders and a seven-day grace period precede any replacement-cost deduction. No extra penalty. Final written terms require approval before collecting deposits.

League Roll of Honor

No champions have been crowned yet. Each approved season record will retain the team’s name at the time of the win, even if its team page is later archived or renamed. This preview stores mock honors only in this browser; permanent records need the production database and backups.
